1. Introduction
Welcome to ReedFinder. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

Business customers. These terms are written for consumers. Orders placed through the trade portal at b2b.reedfinder.com are governed instead by our trade terms and conditions, which apply to businesses only.

2. Definitions
Service: The reed analysis and recommendation services provided by ReedFinder, including the website, mobile applications, webshop, order management system, and customer support.
User: Any individual or entity accessing or using our services.

3. Eligibility and Account Security
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to use our services. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement. Accounts must not be shared. If you are using ReedFinder on behalf of a company or institution, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

4. Use of Services
Our services are intended for personal and non-commercial use unless explicitly agreed otherwise. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account or placing an order. You agree not to misuse our services, including but not limited to attempting unauthorized access to our systems or using our platform for unlawful activities.

ReedFinder’s reed analysis and recommendations are based on user inputs, algorithms, and statistical models. We do not guarantee specific results or outcomes. Users acknowledge that reed performance is subjective and can vary based on individual playing style, equipment, and environmental factors.

5. Orders and Payments
All prices are in EUR and are final prices: no VAT is added at checkout. ReedFinder is a small business within the meaning of § 6 (1) no. 27 of the Austrian VAT Act (Kleinunternehmerregelung), so our supplies are VAT-exempt and no VAT is shown or charged on our invoices. Payment methods accepted include credit card, PayPal, and other options listed at checkout. A binding sales contract is formed once we send you an order confirmation by email. ReedFinder reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order if fraud or misuse is suspected.

Product images and packaging versions are for reference and may vary. Manufacturers may change packaging design, or edition labels over time. ReedFinder may fulfill an order with an older or newer packaging/version format, provided the reed is from the same brand and model and has the same essential characteristics as ordered.

6. Feedback, Recommendation Model, and User-Generated Content
By providing feedback, ratings, or scans, you grant ReedFinder a worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual license to use, reproduce, modify, and analyze such data for the purpose of improving our services and algorithms. You confirm you have the right to provide such data and that it does not infringe third-party rights.

Personal identifiers will be removed, and data will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

7. Shipping and Delivery
All orders are shipped with either Post Austria, GLS or UPS. We offer free shipping on the following terms:
• Austria: FREE SHIPPING on all orders
• European Union countries: Free shipping for orders over €129
• Great Britain & Moldavia: Free shipping for orders over €199
• Canada & Israel: Free shipping for orders over €249
• Australia, South Korea, Singapore & Martinique: Free shipping for orders over €299

Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days. Delivery times may vary depending on your location. We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services, customs processes, or other unforeseen circumstances.

International shipments outside the European Union may be subject to customs fees or import taxes. These charges are the responsibility of the customer. If your country is not listed as a shipping option, please let us know and we will find a solution!

8. Returns and Refunds
Reeds. Every reed box is sealed by ReedFinder before dispatch. While that seal is intact, you may withdraw from the contract and return the box within 14 days of delivery. Once the seal has been opened, the right of withdrawal for that box expires for reasons of health protection and hygiene, whether or not the reeds have been played. This follows § 11 (1) no. 5 FAGG, implementing Article 16(e) of Directive 2011/83/EU, which excludes withdrawal for goods delivered sealed that are unsuitable for return on health or hygiene grounds where the seal has been removed after delivery.

Accessories. Ligatures, reed trimmers, cases and all other non-reed accessories can be returned within 14 days of delivery under the statutory right of withdrawal, unless stated otherwise on the product page.

Damaged or defective items. This is separate from withdrawal and applies to reeds as well. If any part of your order arrives damaged, faulty or not what you ordered, please contact info@reedfinder.com as soon as you notice it and we will replace it or refund you. Telling us promptly helps us resolve it quickly, but it is a request, not a deadline: your statutory warranty rights are unaffected and are not limited to any period shorter than the statutory one.

9. Intellectual Property
All content on ReedFinder, including logos, text, graphics, software, and proprietary algorithms, is the property of ReedFinder and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. Users may not reproduce, modify, reverse engineer, or distribute any content without prior written permission.

10. Privacy Policy
Our privacy practices are outlined in our separate Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

11. Limitation of Liability and Indemnification
ReedFinder is provided on an "as is" basis. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the services directly causing the issue. You agree to indemnify and hold ReedFinder harmless from any claims, damages, or losses resulting from your misuse of the service or breach of these terms.

12. Service Modifications and Termination
ReedFinder reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of its services with appropriate notice. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms or engage in harmful activities. Scheduled maintenance or unforeseen service interruptions are not grounds for liability.

13. Third-Party Links and External Services
Our platform may include links to third-party websites or services. ReedFinder is not responsible for the content or practices of these third parties, and your interactions with them are governed by their respective terms and policies.

14. Force Majeure
ReedFinder shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

15. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the services shall first be attempted to be resolved through amicable negotiation. If no resolution is reached, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration, unless local law requires otherwise.

These terms are governed by the laws of Austria and the European Union. Nothing in this clause deprives you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence, or of the right to bring proceedings before the courts there.

16. Data Security and Cookies
ReedFinder employs reasonable security measures to protect your data. Our use of cookies is detailed in our Cookie Policy.

17. Notifications and Updates
We will notify users of significant changes to these terms via email or notices on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

19. Product Handling and Hygiene Seal
All reeds sold by ReedFinder are new and unplayed. For analysis, measurement, labeling, and recommendation purposes, the manufacturer’s individual reed holders may be opened by ReedFinder prior to resale, and a small identification label may be applied. This is disclosed on every reed product page at the time of purchase.

Before dispatch, ReedFinder seals the reed box with its own hygiene seal. That seal — not the manufacturer’s original packaging — is the seal referred to in clause 8 and in our withdrawal information.

By purchasing reeds from ReedFinder, you acknowledge that:
• The manufacturer’s individual reed holders may have been opened by us for measurement, and the reeds remain new, unplayed and structurally unmodified.
• Your box is delivered sealed with a ReedFinder hygiene seal.
• While that seal is intact you may withdraw within 14 days; once it has been opened, the right of withdrawal for that box expires for hygiene reasons.
• Your statutory rights in respect of faulty goods are unaffected by the above.

20. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and ReedFinder.
